LOS ANGELES, CA Monday Apr.10.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Dave Grohl has climbed back on the drum stool.

NME.com reports that the Foo Fighters frontman has been in the studio playing drums for Juliette Lewis' band, Juliette & the Licks.

Following original Licks' drummer Jason Morris departure from the band, Grohl is lending his skills to the Licks as they record the follow-up to their debut album "You're Speaking My Language."

The new Juliette & The Licks album is expected to drop in September 2006. The band is also opening for the Foo Fighters on June 17th, when the Foos play London's Hyde Park with Queens Of The Stone Age, Motorhead, Angels & Airwaves and The Subways.
