NEW YORK, NY Monday May.8.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- There's been a change-up in People In Planes' current tour itinerary.

The Welsh rockers had been opening shows for Texas band Blue October, but plans changed last week when Blue October singer Justin Furstenfeld broke his leg, forcing the cancellation of the rest of the tour.

People In Planes are now working to replace the cancelled dates and continue to tour in support of their debut album "As Far As The Eye Can See...."

Some of the confirmed People In Planes' shows include New York City on May 11th; Providence, Rhode Island on May 13th; Cambridge, Massachusetts on May 16th; Burlington, Vermont on May 18th; and Raleigh, North Carolina on May 27th. The band will also play radio festivals in Columbia, Maryland and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the end of May, along with Houston's annual Buzzfest on June 17th.

People In Planes will also embark on a Canadian tour in June with the band Pilate.
