LAS VEGAS, NV Friday May.12.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- The Foo Fighters and the All-American Rejects will take the stage at the first annual "VH1 Rock Honors," airing May 31st on VH1.

During the two-hour event, artists will pay tribute to some of the bands who influenced the sound of hard rock including Queen, KISS, Def Leppard and Judas Priest.

Along with the Foo Fighters and the All-American Rejects, "VH1 Rock Honors" also features performances by Paul Rodgers, Godsmack, and all this year's honorees.

Actress Jaime Pressly from the hit show "My Name Is Earl" hosts the festivities, with Riki Rachtman serving as backstage announcer.

"VH1 Rock Honors" tapes at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Thursday, May 25th, and the show premieres Wednesday, May 31st, at 9 pm ET/PT on VH1. Check your local listings for further details or visit VH1.com.
