NEW YORK, NY Wednesday May.17.2006 / -- Damian "Junior Gong" Marley was the big winner at the 25th annual International Reggae and World Music Awards, taking home awards in all six categories for which he was nominated.

During the prestigious event held earlier this month at Harlem's Apollo Theatre, Marley won awards for Entertainer Of The Year, Recording Artist Of The Year, Best Song for "Welcome To Jamrock," Best Album for "WELCOME TO JAMROCK," Best Music Video for "Welcome To Jamrock," and the Best Songwriting Award, shared with his brother Stephen Marley.

Hasidic reggae artist Matisyahu was also honored at the International Reggae and World Music Awards, earning the Best New Entertainer trophy. Other winners included Daddy Yankee for Best Reggaeton Entertainer, Marcia Griffiths for Best Female Vocalist, and Jah Cure for Best Male Vocalist.
