LOS ANGELES, CA Monday Aug.21.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Hawthorn Heights is leaving Victory Records and they describe it as "anything but amicable." The boys call out Tony Bremmel, the head of Victory Records, as the cause for the departure.

According to a letter posted on the band's " target="_blank">site, Victory owes them money and has not paid them a dime in artist royalties on the 1.2 million records sold.

The band also accused Victory Records of causing the commotion that lead to the virtual war on Hip-hop and Ne-Yo. Exposing Tony Brummelas the person that wrote the letters, under the guise of the bands message, to rise up against hip-hop. Tony was also shown as the man who wrote the letters asking the street teams to rearrange CD displays in stores placing HH in better positions.
