NASHVILLE, TN Monday Mar.12.2007 / -- Little Big Town will kick off the premiere episode of Academy of Country Music and GAC Present..., a nine-week series highlighting the lives and careers of country music's rising stars.

Band members Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook sat down for a lively and revealing discussion with popular GAC personality Lorianne Crook, who will host the entire series. The program premieres Monday March 12 at 8 p.m. ET on the GAC network.

Crook and Little Big Town cover a variety of topics, from the hilarious (chick flicks that make the guys cry) to the profound (the band's incredible journey since the release of their now-platinum album, The Road To Here) to Kimberly Roads' exciting news that "there's going to be a Little Big Baby!"

Little Big Town is nominated for two ACM Awards: Top Vocal Group and Top New Duo or Vocal Group. The band is currently in the studio working on a new album for the Equity label, set for release in the fall of this year. The band will kick off a tour with country superstar Martina McBride in April.
