LOS ANGELES, CA Friday May.25.2007 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- The soundtrack for the 3rd official installment in the Guitar Hero video game series has been revealed.

Confirmed tracks include "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse, "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys, "Paint It Black" by The Rolling Stones, "Cherub Rock" by Smashing Pumpkins, and "My Name is Jonas" by Weezer. Queens of the Stone Age
and Velvet Revolver have also been confirmed as contributors.

Guitar Hero III is set for release in the Fall.
