LOS ANGELES, CA Monday Jul.23.2007 /netmusiccountdown.com/ --
Ne-Yo has teamed up with McDonald's for a free 10-city tour, held mostly in McDonald's parking lots around the country.
The "McDonald's Live" concerts will also feature Kenna, Kat DeLuna, the Dey, Single File, Twista and Kevin Michael, with more artists to be announced.
Douglas Freeland, director of U.S. marketing at McDonald's, tells Billboard.biz. "We're always looking for ways to strengthen brand relevance with young adults, and we know from work we've done in the past that music is their number one passion."
The series launches on July 26 with a performance from Ne-Yo and Kenna at California's Venice Beach Recreation Center.
Admission will be available on a first come, first serve basis, and if you can't make it to the gig, you can always check out the scene post-show at www.mcdlive.com.
