LOS ANGELES, CA Friday Aug.3.2007 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- A publicist for Eminem has denied earlier reports that the rapper will be releasing a new album later this year.

According to Starpulse.com, rumors of a new record began after the launch of the website kingmathers.com. If you log on to the site, you will see an image of Eminem and the words "Guess Who's Coming Back? " "King Mathers. The First Studio Album In More Than Two Years. Coming Soon." What's odd is that the page appears only for a second, and then is replaced by an error message giving you the option of returning to www.hiphopsummit.net, not to be confused with the Hip Hop Summit Action network, whose website is www.HSAN.org. Hmmm. It seems that someone may be deliberately looking to confuse fans who are searching online for the social and educational advocacy group. HSAN's board of directors includes moguls Russell Simmons, Diddy and Jermaine Dupri.

Eminem's publicist Dennis Dennehy has dismissed the record rumors, saying, "There is no Eminem album on any release schedule."
