For Kenny Chesney, the sun went up when he heard that "When the Sun Goes Down" jumped from #4 to #1 on the Billboard charts, bringing his guest vocalist Uncle Kracker his first #1 country hit.
Meanwhile, Chesney had a meeting with President George W. Bush. Actually, the meeting took place in December, according to USA Weekend. Chesney was at the White House to perform for the annual Christmas in Washington concert.
"He (Bush) said, 'I just want you to know I am proud of you.' It was a really surreal moment, because that was the same day they caught Saddam Hussein," Chesney recalls.
