SPRINGFIELD, MO Thursday Apr.29.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- British rockers The Darkness are back in the states in June to support their debut album, "Permission to Land," which has sold over 500,000 copies. In March and April, the group completed their first American tour, selling out every concert date. This time around, the band will concentrate on the eastern states as well as play two dates in Quebec. They hit the road again starting June 2 in Portsmouth, Virginia and wrap things up in the US on June 25 in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Wildhearts, supporting their March release "Riff After Riff," will open for The Darkness.

Tickets for some shows are already on sale, with others going up for grabs in the next couple days. To experience the metal music madness that is The Darkness, buy your tickets pronto. This is one show that is sure to sell out.
