NASHVILLE, TN Friday Apr.30.2004 / -- Clay Walker is a man that loves to grill his food, animal or vegetable. And, he's set to join renowned chef Robert Del Grande for a story that will air Friday, April 30, 7:30 p.m. ET on CMT's "CMT Insider." Del Grande is the owner and chef at Houston's "Cafe Annie," one of the nation's top 50 restaurants according to "Gourmet" magazine. He was the invited guest chef at the recent T.J. Martell Best Cellars dinner in Nashville and he asked Walker to join him in the kitchen. Together, they prepared striped sea bass in corn husks, and Walker held his own alongside the chef whose recipes often run in national magazines and best-selling cookbooks.

Not to be outdone, Chef Del Grande turned the tables on Walker, picking up a guitar and strumming an impromptu blues number as his multi-platinum-selling sidekick sous chef made up lyrics on the spot. Their kitchen capers were also captured by "Country Weekly" magazine and that piece will run in the June 22 issue (on stands June 8).
