NEW YORK, NY Tuesday Jun.1.2004 / -- Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins feels audiences around the world are not so different. The band just finished a headline tour across America in support of its latest release, "Start Something," and they're now back on the road playing Europe.

Watkins told AP Radio, "When you're in a subgenre of music, audiences around the world are pretty much the same." He added, "There's no big difference -- the shows in the U.S. are the same in Europe, the U.K. and Australia. We're not a big MTV band, so the people who are into us are real music lovers."

Though he feels the band's audiences are universal, Watkins has noticed one difference between the US and the UK. Says the singer, "In the UK, tea is tea -- it's not flavored at all. [In the U.S.], you have blackberry tea and blueberry tea. We drink it differently, too -- we drink it with milk and sugar."
