NASHVILLE, TN Thursday Jun.10.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Dwight Yoakam personally selected these musical gems from other artist's albums that have invited him over the years to lend his unmistakable vocals to their own incredible projects. On his new CD, "Dwight's Used Records," Dwight collaborates with The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on "Some Dark Holler" from their CD "Will The Circle Be Unbroken, Volume 3," Deana Carter on "Waiting" from her "I'm Just A Girl," and Ralph Stanley on "Down Where The River Bends" and "Miner's Prayer" from his album, "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning." There are also three new recordings on the CD, the John Prine tune, "Paradise" and "I Said (Paradise Reprise)" and "Locomotion," which was a hit for Little Eva and Grand Funk Railroad.
