Yes, boss: On Saturday, June 26, Hoobastank heads to "Fantasy Island."
The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, along with Maxim, Blender, and Stuff magazines, are producing "Fantasy Island," a two-day music festival and "weekend party experience." The event takes place June 26-27 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hoobastank will get "Out of Control" on Saturday. Other music acts performing on "Fantasy Island" include The Darkness, Velvet Revolver, John Mayer, Fountains of Wayne, Silvertide, DJ Sasha and DJ Jonathan Peters. Also confirmed to appear over the course of the two-day festival are Maxim cover girl Kim Smith, "Survivor" winner Amber Brkich and many of the stars of the AVP tour.
"Fantasy Island" takes place at a specially built 10-acre park within the Borgata resort. The festival grounds consist of two music stages and four unique theme areas. At South Beach, partygoers can relax in hammocks and watch models showing off the latest summer fashions. Venice Beach lets festival attendees play or watch sports like volleyball or basketball. Stuffland is an amusement park complete with rides and games. At the Oasis, event-goers can ride camels or watch belly dancers perform.
