OKLAHOMA CITY, OK Friday Oct.1.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Big Brother 5 contestant "Cowboy" Michael Ellis had a problem at the Big Brother house. He was never voted house leader so he never got to pick the music played at the house. When the leader played stuff by Counting Crows, Cowboy would complain, "Play me some Toby Keith."

Toby's publicist, Elaine Shock, is a fan of Big Brother 5, and watched the show when Cowboy tried to get them to play Toby's music. When she heard Cowboy say that, she sent him a special, autographed copy of Toby's Shock 'n Y'all CD.
Cowboy called the publicist to thank her and told her he was from Durant, Oklahoma about three hours away from Oklahoma City. When he also told her that he'd never seen Toby live in concert, Shock made arrangements for Cowboy to get tickets to the Oklahoma City October 17th Toby show, plus a personal meet and greet with his favorite singer.

(NOTE: Cowboy lost to Drew by just one vote. Drew won half a million dollars, while cowboy picked up 50,000 dollars second prize.)
