Band never dreamed they'd see the things they've seen.
LEEDS, ENGLAND Thursday Dec.9.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ --
British band The Music comes from a town called Leeds, located in the north of England. "Leeds is home," singer Rob Harvey says on the band's official web site, "But we are aware of the shortcomings of the place."
So why did The Music name its second album, "Welcome to the North?" Harvey explains, "The title is kind of ironic. It's a double-edged sword. You see the world and come back and see your previous life with a different perspective. The thing is none of us ever dreamed we would get the chance to see the things we've seen."
