NASHVILLE, TN Tuesday Jan.18.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ --
As a minority owner of the Arena League Football Team, the Nashville Kats, Tim McGraw put on his first concert of 2005 Friday night to say thank you to season ticket holders. The Warren Brothers opened for Tim and then later joined him on stage with Faith Hill to sing the song they wrote for Tim's latest album called "Blank Sheet of Paper." During "I Like It, I Love It," Tim invited Kats' lineman Ryan Roth on stage to take over singing duties while he lobbed Kats footballs and other souvenirs into the stands.
Tim also announced that his next single would be "Drugs or Jesus," and over the weekend he and his band headed back into the studio to begin working on their next album.
And Tim debuted one of the new songs from the upcoming album called "Let's Get Drunk and Fight." The song was co-written by John Rich of Big & Rich, who happened to be in the audience at the concert, with a big ol' bottle of Crown Royal. Tim also joked that John "has like 22 songs on Faith's new album."
