NASHVILLE, TN Monday Feb.7.2005 / -- Katrina Elam opened for the 40-market Keith Urban tour last year and, by the end of the tour, she'd gotten her act together, literally, giving a solid, confident, sensational show, while backed up by a great band.

Not surprising then that Keith has asked her to re-join the 2005 leg of his tour that kicks off March 10 in Oklahoma City for a 16-city run that includes a three-night stand in Nashville at the Ryman beginning March 17.

"It's hard to describe what a thrill it is for me to be
opening for someone like Keith Urban so early in my career," Katrina says. "Every night when I walk out on that stage I have felt so welcome by his fans, and it has been a wonderful experience for me. I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity and I thank Keith so much for giving me this chance."

Katrina's second Universal South single, "I Want A Cowboy,"
a song she wrote with co-producer Jamie Lee Sloas and Wayne Kirkpatrick, was the most added song by a female artist at country radio this week, as reported by Radio & Records.
