NEW YORK, NY Friday Mar.25.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- VH1.com recently asked Brooke Valentine to give some dating advice to women, and the singer happily agreed. According to Valentine, the number one rule in dating is to tell the truth. Says Valentine, "I can't stand for someone to lie to me for no reason and I'd probably really hurt myself if that were to happen - I need the truth at all costs."

The "Girlfight" singer adds, "Everything goes hand in hand with honesty. I've had a liar before, a guy who lied to me all the time. It's not attractive and it makes me nuts because it drags me to a really negative position; it makes me really crazy. And then the relationship just doesn't work out because I go nuts, and every time the guy tries to do something I throw something at his head."
