NEW YORK, NY Wednesday Apr.13.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Alicia Keys, Jay-Z and Kanye West are among the individuals to make Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world today.

MTV.com reports that Keys, Jay-Z and West have landed on the "Time 100" -- Time magazine's list of the top 100 "people who shape our world."

Selected by the magazine's editors, the individuals are grouped into five categories including "Artists and Entertainers," "Leaders and Revolutionaries," "Builders and Titans," "Scientists and Thinkers" and "Heroes and Icons." Jay-Z is named among the "Builders and Titans," while Keys and West are profiled under "Artists and Entertainers."

Along with Keys, Jay-Z and West, some of the others to make Time's list include the Dalai Lama, Melissa Etheridge, Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Martha Stewart, Apple CEO Steve Jobs and TV host Jon Stewart.

The "Time 100" special issue is on newsstands now.
