DAYTON, OH Monday Jul.25.2005 / -- Most bands have at least one guitar player and many have two. But Hawthorne Heights likes the sound of three.

The Dayton, Ohio group says that having this many guitars has helped to define its sound.

"With JT [Woodruff], Casey [Calvert], and Micah [Carli] all playing guitar, we can add a lot of layering effects and intricacies to our music along with legitimately pulling in different musical styles," explains drummer Eron Bucciarelli on the band's official web site,

The three guitars, anchored by Bucciarelli's drums and Matt Ridenour's bass, make up the Hawthorne Heights sound heard on the band's Victory Records debut, "The Silence In Black and White."

Right now, you can catch Hawthorne Heights on the Vans Warped Tour, along with The Offspring, New York rockers Matchbook Romance, and many more bands.
