NEW YORK, NY Monday Sep.26.2005 / -- Tune in to VH1 tonight, September 26th, to catch the second annual "VH1 Hip Hop Honors."

This year's program will recognize contributions made to hip-hop music by LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Notorious B.I.G., Ice T, Salt-N-Pepa, and the film "Boyz N The Hood."

Among the artists who will perform during the Hip-Hop Honors are Biz Markie, Ciara, Common, Disco Bee, DJ Kid Capri, DJ Cut Creator, DJ Enuf, En Vogue, EZ Mike, Faith Evans, Fat Joe, Jazzy Jeff, Kanye West, Lil' Cease, Ludacris, Nelly, Pete Rock, Snoop Dogg, The Roots, and T.I.

Other stars scheduled to appear on the show include Anthony Anderson, Diddy, Eve, Jermaine Dupri, Jerry Ferrara, Nas, Nia Long and Queen Latifah.

Rev Run from the legendary rap group Run DMC and his brother and Def Jam founder Russell Simmons host this year's VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, which was taped last week at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom.

VH1 Hip-Hop Honors airs tonight, September 26th, at 9 pm ET on VH1. Check your local listings for further information.
