According to RollingStone.com, the System of a Down guitarist is working on a new side project called "Scars On Broadway," which he hopes to launch after System's summer tour wraps up.
Malakian hasn't yet decided if "Scars On Broadway" will be "one solid band" or "a revolving door of musicians." One thing is for certain, though. Malakian says it will all revolve around his writing.
So does this spell the end of System?
No way, says Malakian. He tells Rolling Stone, "We're always doing things outside of System that come back to System in a positive way."
